Torrey Trails RV & Golf Resort in Wauchula, Florida is on the fast track to being one of the state’s biggest RV parks, building spacious RV sites, adding more amenities, and even achieving full occupancy into the upcoming camping season.
“Super proud of our team’s progress at Torrey Trails RV & Golf Resort as we construct one of the largest RV parks ever built in Florida—700 sites,” Amir Harpaz wrote in a post on LinkedIn. He is a partner in the development team for the Bowling Green, Florida RV resort.
The team has completed phase one, having built 158 spacious sites ranging from standard back-in, premium back-in, pull-in, pull-through, and corner sites. Each RV site comes standard with landscaping, hook-ups, and concrete pads.
Currently, the RV spaces can accommodate Class A, Class B, Class C, fifth wheels, travel trailers, and destination trailers.
Phase 2 construction is underway with 210 sites, totaling 368. The developers plan to add 100 and 200 more RV sites, respectively, as the planning for Phases 3 and 4 progresses with hopes to complete the project within its 2-year timeframe.
Only commencing construction 18 months ago, Harpaz told Modern Campground that the park has been open since this past season.
When staying at the property, guests can enjoy the 9-hole executive golf course, pickleball courts, shuffleboard courts, a 65,000-gallon heated pool, and the hot tub. The bathhouse, gym, and laundry are currently being built.
To stay active, guests can also enjoy the 30-acre nature preserve at Torrey Trails.
Equipped with the facilities with more underway, Torrey Trails RV & Golf Resort is gearing up for the next season, ready to cater to a new wave of RVers.
“The campground industry has always been performing well, specifically in Florida. Current demand for RVs has put more pressure on the industry to build more sites,” Harpaz told Modern Campground.
