Are you a bookworm and an outdoor enthusiast? You’re in for a treat as Florida state agencies, including the Division of Library and Information Services, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and Florida State Parks, offer State Park day passes to library patrons through the Real Florida Reader Day Pass initiative.
As per a report, The Real Florida Reader Day Pass initiative permits anyone with a Florida public library card to check out a Florida State Park day pass, which provides free park admission for up to eight people in a vehicle.
The program will run until September 13.
As per The Real Florida Reader, non-library card holders can visit local libraries for one. The park pass and library card are completely free.
Florida has 175 state parks that showcase the state’s natural and cultural resources. With the Real Florida Reader Pass, you can continue your learning adventure while enjoying time exploring new places.
Participants are encouraged to check out books about Florida’s wildlife, horticultural and natural resources, then explore a Florida State Park to identify resources they learned.
