Climb Capital, a parent company of Unhitched RV, announced the formation of Unhitched Management, a new entity dedicated to operating and managing RV resorts and campgrounds across the United States.
Unhitched Management aims to streamline the operational and financial complexities faced by campground owners, providing expertise across finance, operations, marketing, and hospitality. This initiative is designed to support campground owners by enhancing profitability and fostering connections between guests and the outdoors.
According to Robert Preston, CEO and founder of Climb Capital, Unhitched Management was founded to address the unique challenges in the outdoor hospitality industry. Having owned and operated multiple RV parks himself, Preston recognizes the operational hurdles for campground owners.
“We created this new management company to help our clients’ properties become the most profitable, beloved, and highly ranked in their region while simplifying the day-to-day frustrations that so many campground owners feel,” Preston said in a press release.
Currently, Unhitched Management oversees 18 RV parks nationwide, managing over 2,700 sites and various accommodations. The company reports achieving a 36% average growth in gross revenue in the first year across its managed properties.
The company’s goal is not only to maximize financial returns for campground owners but also to provide an enriched experience for guests seeking outdoor recreation. Preston emphasized that Unhitched Management’s team is passionate about outdoor hospitality and positioned to guide property owners.
“Our mission is to bring connection to a divided world, and we are committed to simplifying operational demands while elevating the outdoor hospitality experience,” said Preston. “Our team has a deep passion for the outdoors and a unique understanding of the industry’s strengths and opportunities that we look forward to sharing with owners and operators that feel stuck or frustrated with their investment.”
