RVezy Promotes Owner Payout Guarantee and In-House Insurance Programs Ahead of Summer Season

RVezy detailed the host programs of its peer-to-peer RV rental marketplace for California owners as the summer season approaches.

According to the company, more than 20,000 California RV owners and over 100,000 across the United States have listed vehicles on the platform.

Data from RVezy shows the average RV in North America is used three to four weeks per year, accruing insurance and storage costs for the remaining months.

Owners who list on the platform report that rental income covers their annual ownership costs within a single season.

The company operates a guaranteed owner payout program that protects host income if a claim from a prior rental makes a vehicle unavailable for a scheduled RVezy booking.

The platform also initiates payments on the day a rental begins, depositing funds directly into the owner’s bank account.

RVezy manages its insurance program in-house, including liability coverage up to $2 million for the duration of the trip.

The company employs a Host Experience Team that assigns a personal account representative to help hosts with pricing and availability.

Chief Executive Officer Michael McNaught said the company avoids treating owners as inventory. “Every RV on RVezy belongs to a real person who saved for it, uses it for family trips, and trusts us with it when they are not,” McNaught said.

McNaught added that trust is the “foundation of this business” and that features like the payout guarantee and in-house insurance were built because owners deserve a “genuine partner” rather than just a marketplace.

The application handles renter identity verification, payment processing, insurance coverage, and digital check-in documentation for every booking.

For the recreational vehicle and outdoor hospitality industry, the expansion of peer-to-peer rental platforms alters the economics of RV ownership and increases total vehicle utilization.
