Coachella Lakes RV Resort, located in California, will roll out a summer programming lineup centered on the 250th anniversary of the United States, branded as America 250, with a schedule of community events, recreational activities, and commemorative gatherings planned across May 22 through May 23.
The programming brings together social activities, recreational competitions, and community service initiatives designed to engage guests throughout the season.
Planned offerings include pool parties, barbecue gatherings, and tie-dye events under a social and fun category, alongside competitions such as a golf cart parade, a patriotic scavenger hunt, and a fishing tournament.
The resort also outlines community impact efforts, including service activities and donation drives.
“Enjoy music, sunshine, and community all summer long as we celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary — together,” the announcement indicates.
Events begin Friday, May 22, with a veteran-focused morning program at the clubhouse. At 9:00 a.m., the resort will host a Veteran Appreciation Coffee and Donuts Social in partnership with the American Legion.
At 11:00 a.m., guests will participate in a thank-you card writing activity for veterans and active duty service members, also held at the clubhouse.
Evening programming on Friday includes a Glow Golf event scheduled for 7:30 p.m., extending recreational activities into nighttime hours.
On Saturday, May 23, events shift toward family and group recreation.
At 11:00 a.m., the resort will host a start-of-summer pool party featuring lawn games and prizes. At 12:00 p.m., a water balloon toss is scheduled, followed at 1:00 p.m. by a red, white, and blue tie-dye activity.
Saturday evening will feature a patriotic dive-in movie night at 7:30 p.m., with a screening of “Forrest Gump.”
Across the weekend, a fishing tournament will run continuously, providing an ongoing competitive activity for participants.
