Pebble Flow Transforms RVing: The Electric Travel Trailer Controlled by iPhone

The world of recreational vehicles (RVs) is witnessing a groundbreaking innovation with the introduction of the Pebble Flow. This electric travel trailer, a brainchild of the California-based startup Pebble, promises to redefine the RV experience by integrating the convenience of an iPhone.

The Pebble Flow is not just any travel trailer. It’s a symbol of modernity, designed for the digital nomad. With its sleek design and state-of-the-art features, it brings electrification, automation, and the usability of an iPhone to the RV world.

Imagine a 25-foot electric travel trailer that sleeps up to four people, equipped with a 45 kWh lithium-ion phosphate battery, 1 kW of rooftop solar, and plug-and-play readiness for Starlink.

But the innovation doesn’t stop there. The Pebble Flow offers both AC and DC charging capability, and its regenerative charging feature sends electrons back into the battery while it’s being towed.

Moreover, its bidirectional charging can power appliances or even serve as an emergency power source for your home. This is the vision of Bingrui Yang, Pebble’s founder and CEO, who previously led iPhone development at Apple, according to the Design Boom.

The exterior of the Pebble Flow is a testament to modern design principles. It boasts wraparound windows that users can turn opaque for privacy, ensuring a blend of aesthetics and functionality.

Step inside, and you’re greeted with a kitchen equipped with a 4-in-1 convection microwave, a full-size fridge, and a removable induction cooktop that can be taken outside for a delightful outdoor cooking experience.

One of the standout features of the Pebble Flow is its app integration. The Pebble app allows users to control various functionalities, from lights to temperature settings. It even enables users to remotely set up the trailer, deploying or retracting features like awnings and stabilizers, all with the tap of a button.

For those willing to invest a bit more, Pebble offers the “magic pack.” This upgraded package includes a dual-motor drivetrain that propels the travel trailer while it’s being towed. This not only helps preserve the range of the EV towing the trailer but can also boost the fuel economy of a gas-powered vehicle.

Founded in 2022, Pebble has made significant strides in a short span. With $13.6 million raised from investors, the company is on a mission to revolutionize the RV industry. The Pebble Flow is set to make its grand debut at the LA Auto Show in November, marking a new chapter in RVing.
