The British Columbia Lake and Campground Association (BCLCA) has announced the addition of three new members, expanding its network of campgrounds and supplier partners in the province.
The new members include two resorts, Destiny Bay Resort in Destiny Bay and Shuswap Falls RV Resort in Enderby, and a supplier, Fireside Outdoor Resorts.
Destiny Bay Resort occupies roughly 1.5 acres along 325 feet of Kootenay Lake shoreline, blending natural growth with manicured gardens and towering conifers.
The resort provides private cottages with lake views, a sloping beach, canoes, paddle boats, a log house sauna, an enclosed fire pit, and garden chess, catering to guests seeking both outdoor activity and relaxation.
The resort promotes a variety of recreational options, including hiking, road and mountain biking, bird watching, and visits to the nearby wildlife management area that hosts more than 265 species of nesting and migrating birds.
Additional attractions within a short drive include local wineries, artisan shops, galleries, and the Glass House.
Shuswap Falls RV Resort offers overnight, weekly, monthly, and seasonal rentals with full-service RV sites featuring 30-amp power, water, and sewer hookups. The resort spans 1,200 feet of Shuswap River shoreline and provides a pool, sports field, picnic areas, volleyball and basketball courts, horseshoes, and a playground.
It is pet-friendly, with designated off-leash areas, and supports river activities including salmon and trout fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and tubing.
The resort’s location places it near restaurants, a grocery store, the Interpretive Centre, Mabel Lake Golf Club, and local trails for hiking, biking, and ATV use.
Fireside Outdoor Resorts also joins BCLCA as a supplier member. The company’s membership expands BCLCA’s access to service providers supporting campgrounds and RV park operations across British Columbia.
The BCLCA membership updates are part of the association’s ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration among campgrounds, RV resorts, and suppliers, fostering operational support and growth opportunities within the province’s outdoor hospitality sector.
