The Grand Canyon Glamping Resort has introduced an array of new accommodations and amenities. The resort’s latest additions include the Stargazer Geodesic Domes, which offer scenic views and luxurious interiors, as well as the Last Chance Restaurant and Saloon, which provides a unique dining experience for guests.
Nestled amidst the Western landscape, the Stargazer Domes provide a connection to nature. By day, guests enjoy panoramic views of the Grand Canyon’s western rim, and by night, the domes become a sanctuary for stargazing, with expansive skylights offering an unobstructed view of the night sky.
Designed to accommodate up to six guests, each dome is furnished with a king-size bed and additional sleeping arrangements. Select domes are perched on elevated bluffs, offering even more remarkable vistas of the surrounding desert and canyon.
Complementing these new accommodations, the resort has expanded its offerings to include covered wagons, tipis, and glamping tents, all equipped with plush bedding, climate control, and WiFi. Some units feature private bathrooms with showers, while others provide access to shared onsite facilities.
For those preferring a more traditional camping experience, dry camping options for tents and RVs are also available.
According to a press release, the newly opened Last Chance Restaurant and saloon elevate the culinary experience for guests, offering a menu crafted from high-quality ingredients, including farm-fresh eggs and 1855 Black Angus USDA Prime beef. The saloon also features a full bar with wines, imported and domestic beers, and specialty cocktails.
Guests seeking adventure can enhance their stay with outdoor activities departing directly from the resort. Helicopter tours provide aerial views of the Grand Canyon. Horseback riding excursions also allow visitors to explore the rugged terrain and wildlife habitats around the resort, with private and group options available, including customizable overnight adventures. For a faster-paced experience, ATV and UTV tours take guests through the Joshua Tree Forest and along the edge of the West Rim.
Russ Mann, president and CEO of the Grand Canyon Glamping Resort, emphasized the resort’s unique blend of adventure and comfort. He described the experience as an opportunity to enjoy “heart-pounding outdoor activities” by day and luxurious accommodations by night.
The resort also offers complimentary shuttle services from most Las Vegas Strip hotels for guests booking adventure activities. Visitors staying exclusively at the resort can arrange round-trip transportation for an additional fee.
