Dwell RV Resort & Casita Cabins has opened in Topock, Arizona, and is welcoming its first guests ahead of its planned grand opening in June 2026, adding a new RV and glamping destination to the Lake Havasu region.
The resort, located at 14215 S. Oatman Highway, currently offers 37 RV sites and four Casita Cabins available for booking as part of its initial opening phase.
The property is situated about three minutes from the Colorado River and provides access to outdoor recreation opportunities in the surrounding area, including off-highway vehicle trails leading into the Mojave Desert.
According to Dwell RV Resort & Casita Cabins, the development is designed to combine RV accommodations and glamping options with a range of guest amenities while serving both short-term and extended-stay travelers.
“We’re thrilled to invite guests to immerse themselves in an unforgettable experience in Topock,” Jeff Main, property manager of Dwell RV Resort & Casita Cabins, said in a press release.
“Our vision was to create a peaceful, family-friendly desert retreat that’s close enough to Lake Havasu and OHV trails for daytime excitement, yet tucked away so guests can relax and reset,” Main added.
Main said the resort is intended to provide visitors with access to outdoor recreation while offering a place to relax and connect with nature throughout the year.
Once fully developed, the resort is expected to include 164 full-hookup RV sites and 20 Casita Cabins.
Planned amenities include a resort-style pool and hot tub, private bathhouse facilities, pickleball courts, shuffleboard, a fitness center, clubhouse, pet park, outdoor barbecue areas, fire pits, cabanas and communal gathering spaces.
The property also plans to offer premium RV sites equipped with private shade structures, gas grills, gas fire pits and mini refrigerators.
In addition to guest accommodations, Dwell will provide on-site RV and boat storage. The storage component will include 20 fully enclosed units and 145 covered storage spaces.
The resort overlooks the Havasu National Wildlife Refuge and is positioned as a base for outdoor activities in the region, including boating, fishing, hiking, wildlife viewing and off-roading.
The opening marks the debut of Dwell RV Resort & Casita Cabins, a project developed to expand lodging options in the Topock area while capitalizing on the region’s recreational attractions.
Dwell Outdoor Hospitality, the company behind the project, manages RV resort properties and provides services including operations, revenue management, marketing, accounting, strategic planning, development and third-party property management for outdoor hospitality assets.
The resort plans to celebrate its official grand opening during summer 2026.
