Love’s Travel Stops has opened a new travel stop in Quinton, Alabama, adding 123 truck parking spaces as part of its ongoing network expansion and efforts to address parking shortages for professional drivers.
The facility, located at 220 Elza’s Way off Interstate 122 at Exit 70, contributes to improved route connectivity for drivers traveling between the Southeast and Mid-South.
The addition brings the company’s total new truck parking capacity to 464 spaces nationwide so far in 2026.
According to a press release, the site spans 14,307 square feet and includes amenities aimed at both commercial drivers and passenger vehicle customers.
The location features nine diesel bays, seven showers, laundry facilities, a CAT Scale, and 71 car parking spaces.
It also provides five RV hookups, an RV dump, three RV parking spaces, and a dog park.
Food offerings at the site include freshly prepared items such as sandwiches, salads, wraps, and fruit made on-site daily. An Arby’s restaurant is scheduled to open April 13.
The new location employs 65 people, adding jobs in the Quinton area. It also includes self-checkout options as part of its in-store services.
The site has allocated space for electric vehicle charging infrastructure, allowing for future partnerships with local utility providers if demand increases.
To mark the opening, Love’s is donating $5,000 to be split between Backyard Blessings and Mission of Hope in Dora.
An additional $5,000 donation will go to Children’s of Alabama. The company also noted that district managers support local organizations annually through community grant programs.
The opening expands Love’s footprint in Alabama, marking its 15th location in the state. The company operates 673 locations across 42 states, with its core business focused on travel stops and convenience stores serving professional drivers, fleets, RV users, and other motorists.
Love’s said the new site is designed to provide parking availability and essential services for drivers while supporting travel demand along a key regional corridor.
