Airxcel Appoints Andrew Thomas as OEM Account Manager for Coleman-Mach and Maxxair

Airxcel has appointed Andrew Thomas as OEM Account Manager for its Coleman-Mach and Maxxair brands, a move aimed at strengthening collaboration with original equipment manufacturers and advancing customer-driven product development across the RV industry.

The appointment positions Thomas to lead direct engagement with OEM partners, focusing on relationship development and product presentations.

The role is designed to enhance coordination between manufacturing partners and Airxcel’s internal sales and engineering teams to ensure product development aligns with real-world application needs.

According to a press release, Neil Kelly, director of OEM sales for Coleman-Mach and Maxxair, said the addition reflects a strategic effort to expand customer support and deepen long-term partnerships.

“Andrew’s addition reflects a deliberate investment in strengthening customer support and deepening our long-term OEM partnerships,” Kelly said.

“His experience enhances our ability to engage directly with OEM decision-makers, capture valuable product feedback, and accelerate the adoption of new technologies. It reinforces our commitment to serving as a collaborative partner to our customers—not simply a component supplier,” Kelly added.

Thomas brings experience across the RV supply chain, including customer-focused sales roles that require technical product knowledge and account management. According to the company, his background includes driving product growth and increasing market share through innovation, customer training, and relationship-based strategies.

In his new role, Thomas will work to facilitate communication between OEM partners and internal teams, with an emphasis on capturing feedback that can inform product design and development.

Thomas emphasized the importance of relationship-building within the industry.

“I’ve always believed the RV industry runs on relationships first,” Thomas said. “It’s about making sure customers feel heard, supported, and confident they have a true partner in their corner. When you focus on solving problems, communicating clearly, and building trust over time, the results tend to follow.”

Coleman-Mach manufactures air conditioners, heat pumps, thermostats and climate control accessories for RVs, while Maxxair produces ventilation products including vent covers, fans, and replacement shrouds. Both brands operate from Wichita, Kansas, as part of the Airxcel portfolio.
