A glamping site located on the Isle of Anglesey (United Kingdom) has been listed for sale with an asking price of £1.5 million.
According to a report, Llanfair Hall is located near the village of Dwryan, close to the Newborough Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
In 2015, the site opened for business, and since then, it has been a highly-rated glamping spot due to its amenities and its rural setting. Llanfair Hall was named AA’s UK Glamping Site of the year in 2019-2020. It was also named Best Glamping Site in the UK 2021 by Glampitect.
The sale includes the whole 4.78 acres site situated around an old farmhouse that dates back to 1750. It has since been transformed into a four-bedroom home. Five glamping pods are well-appointed. There are also ancillary appointments and leisure facilities.
The property includes two huge barns, one of which was transformed into an accommodation in 2019, which features three bedrooms and a dining and kitchen area, with a vaulted ceiling and oil-fired heating throughout.
The second barn, which is currently being used as a workshop and store, can be converted, which could allow the business to grow further.
Ongoing planning permission exists to convert it into two two-bedroom dwellings.
The property also provides additional accommodation in the form of a log cabin added in 2016 and is located in a private field to the rear of the main dwelling and a Shepherd’s Hut.
The glamping site also offers a centrally located geodome, which provides residents the opportunity to view the night skies, with the area having dark sky status.
