Stewton Stars Hideaway Expands with Two New Geodesic Domes in Lincolnshire

Stewton Stars Hideaway has expanded its glamping accommodations and guest facilities with the addition of two geodesic domes, a development aimed at meeting continued demand for rural tourism experiences in Lincolnshire.

The expansion includes two new geodesic domes designed to provide guests with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and night skies while offering modern amenities. According to the business, the new accommodations are intended for couples seeking short breaks, special occasions, and nature-focused stays.

In addition to increasing its accommodation capacity, the glamping site has introduced enhancements to its guest facilities. While specific upgrades were not detailed, the improvements are intended to provide greater comfort, convenience, and flexibility for visitors staying at the property.

Owner Jessica Ramshaw said the investment represents the next stage in the site’s development.

“We’re incredibly excited to welcome guests to the next phase of Stewton Stars Hideaway,” Jessica Ramshaw, the owner, told LincolnshireWorld.

“The addition of our new geodesic domes and enhanced facilities allows us to offer even more memorable experiences while maintaining the peaceful atmosphere and personal touch that our guests have come to love. Every aspect of the expansion has been carefully considered to complement the natural beauty of our surroundings and provide a truly special escape.”

Bookings for the new geodesic domes are now open, allowing guests to reserve stays in the recently completed accommodations.

Located in the Lincolnshire countryside, Stewton Stars Hideaway offers boutique glamping accommodations centered on outdoor experiences, including stargazing. The business said the latest investment is intended to support its continued growth while maintaining its focus on nature-based hospitality.

The expansion comes as glamping operators continue investing in accommodation upgrades and guest amenities to appeal to travelers seeking outdoor stays with additional comfort and privacy.

Across the outdoor hospitality sector, operators have increasingly diversified their lodging options by adding geodesic domes, safari tents, cabins, and other alternative accommodations that can attract new customer segments while extending seasonal demand.

For campground, caravan park, and glamping business owners, investments that combine new accommodation types with supporting guest amenities can help strengthen a property’s market position.

Enhancing facilities alongside expanding inventory may improve guest satisfaction, encourage repeat visits, and create additional opportunities for premium pricing. As consumer interest in experiential travel continues, operators evaluating future capital projects may find value in balancing unique accommodations with infrastructure improvements that support the overall guest experience.

Although the company did not announce an opening event or launch date for the expansion, the newly added domes are now available for reservations. The latest development marks another example of ongoing investment in the United Kingdom’s glamping sector, where operators continue adapting their offerings to meet evolving traveler preferences for nature-based accommodations with modern comforts.
