Last month, a luxurious glamping destination opened in Meppershall (England), and it will take your breath away.
According to a report, The Meadows at Polehanger is home to four beautiful cabins that can sleep four to six guests. They provide the ideal retreat for couples and families alike.
Owners Andrew and Charlotte Foster, were looking to create a place they wouldn’t just want to visit before having children but also now that they have twins.
Each of the cabins on the site is meticulously designed and built to provide comfort to your camping experience. Although they might look identical, they each have their individualities, like the various color designs for the kitchen area.
One of the four cabins is designed for couples. It comes with a king-sized bed, large bath, and twin hot tubs to make the perfect romantic getaway for two.
The other three cabins have been built with the family in mind and come with a double bed and bunk beds for children to enjoy the experience of camping while still enjoying modern amenities. One even comes with a hot tub.
All cabins have fire pits where you can enjoy each evening, sofa beds, a kitchen, and private gardens.
The glamping experience is also eco-friendly. The wood comes from trees that had to be removed from the managed woodland; infrared heat with freshwater hot bathtubs means that all the water used will be reused to water the farm afterward.
The best part of the glamping experience at The Meadows at Polehanger is the Bedfordshire countryside views, especially from the double beds every morning. The light gently passes through the wooden partition.
The farm also provides seven kilometers of country walks in its woodlands, including routes that can be taken up to Meppershall, Campton, and Shefford, which makes it an excellent choice for keen walkers.
With easy access to nearby towns and villages such as Ampthill and its proximity to the Hertfordshire border, there are plenty of things to enjoy in the area.
