Braidhaugh Holiday Park Introduces New Caravans in £350K Development

Braidhaugh Holiday Park in Crieff, Scotland, has recently undergone a significant enhancement with the introduction of a new £350,000 development. LARGO Leisure Parks, the managing entity, has added 14 new caravans to the park, transforming its appeal and broadening its accommodation offerings.

Previously known for its seasonal touring capabilities, Braidhaugh has transitioned part of its landscape to incorporate these new high-end caravans. This development includes four units available for holiday rentals and ten units available for purchase as holiday homes.

The added models comprise two 2-bedroom and two 3-bedroom caravans, with one of each size being pet-friendly, catering to a diverse range of visitor needs.

The shift from a purely seasonal touring area to a more permanent caravan setup involved significant landscaping to create hard-standing pitches. These modifications not only enhance the park’s infrastructure but also improve the aesthetic and functional quality of the visitor accommodations.

In an effort to maintain environmental integrity, LARGO Leisure Parks collaborated with the David Bellamy Conservation Scheme during the development process, as reported by the Scottish Business News.

This partnership focused on planting native trees and establishing hedgerows that are beneficial to local wildlife, while also maintaining areas of wildflowers to support pollinators such as honey bees and butterflies.

The strategic development is expected to bring considerable economic benefits to the local community. Alison Watson, operations director of LARGO Leisure Parks, noted, “This investment aims to attract more visitors to Crieff, providing a boost to local businesses through increased tourism,” as quoted in the Scottish Business News report.

The development aligns with the park’s commitment to enhancing the local tourism sector and supporting the regional economy.

Now, Braidhaugh Holiday Park offers a wide range of accommodations, from basic camping spots to luxurious caravans with modern amenities. This variety ensures that the park meets the needs of all types of visitors, from those seeking a rustic outdoor experience to those desiring more comfortable and equipped lodging options.

The new caravans are already available for booking for the upcoming 20204 season and beyond. Interested individuals are encouraged to visit the Braidhaugh Holiday Park website for more information and to secure a booking.

This expansion not only enriches the park’s offerings but also promises to enhance the overall visitor experience, contributing to the growth and diversification of tourism in the region.
