Fields End Water Caravan Park, located in Cambridgeshire, has been recognized as one of the top campsites in the UK.
The adults-only site, known for its peaceful setting by a lake, offers a variety of accommodations including caravans, lodges, and glamping pods. It was recently named one of the best campsites in the UK by Premier Parks and has also received the AA Campsite of the Year award.
The park is situated in a secluded area, away from major roads and flight paths, providing a quiet environment for guests.
The main site features 34 fully serviced touring pitches, with 24 hard-standing pitches that offer space for awnings. In addition to the touring pitches, the park provides lakeside glamping pods and six luxury lodges, all of which are dog-friendly.
Each of the lodges is equipped with a private hot tub, with three lodges also featuring private gardens.
According to a report by The Sun, a key attraction of the campsite is its three fishing lakes, which offer 70 swims across three locations: The Pit, The Pool, and the Waterside. The Pit includes 24 swims and has an on-site bait shop.
The Waterside is reserved exclusively for guests, ensuring a more private experience. The fishing lakes are stocked with various species, including carp, chub, barbel, crucian, and perch.
Additional amenities at the site include an on-site shop, which operates from April to October, selling everyday essentials such as groceries and firewood. The park has earned a 4.5/5 star rating on TripAdvisor from over 900 reviews, with visitors praising the friendly staff and clean facilities.
Fields End Water is open throughout November, with low season prices starting at £25 per night. The site is closed during December, January, and February, reopening in March. It is located approximately 70 minutes from Cambridge and 40 minutes from Peterborough.
