Pathfinder Ventures Appoints Mark Roseborough to Board of Directors

Pathfinder Ventures, a company that develops family-friendly campgrounds, announced the appointment of Mark Roseborough to its board of directors, pending approval from the TSX Venture Exchange.

Roseborough, a seasoned executive with a diverse background in industrial and real estate development, brings a wealth of expertise that aligns with Pathfinder’s growth-oriented vision.

Roseborough’s career has spanned several key industries, including water purification, biogas, and nanoparticle applications, with a focus on environmentally sustainable solutions. His role on Pathfinder’s Board is expected to leverage his industry knowledge and management experience to support the company’s expansion efforts.

From 2014 to 2019, Roseborough was instrumental in the modular and manufactured housing sector. Before this, he led utility engineering for a CA$1.2 billion semiconductor plant at Dow Corning.

Roseborough’s extensive industry background includes a tenure from 1992 to 2003 as vice president of manufacturing at Belkorp Industries, where he managed six pulp mills. Additionally, he held the role of president of Mohawk Oil Lubricants and later served as CEO of Bluewater Fiber Pulp Mill.

According to a press release, Pathfinder Ventures CEO and Founder Joe Bleackley expressed optimism about Roseborough’s impact on the company, citing his “extensive and proven track record” in industrial and real estate development.

Bleackley highlighted Roseborough’s “proven ability to lead major developments and drive investment growth,” which is expected to be instrumental in guiding Pathfinder’s strategic initiatives.

“We are very fortunate to be able to call upon his insights and leadership to assist in Pathfinder’s future growth and success,” Bleackley added.

Pathfinder Ventures has positioned itself as a growing player in Canada’s outdoor hospitality market, targeting the demand among Canadians for RV camping experiences. Operating under the Pathfinder Camp Resorts brand, the company currently manages three camp resorts in British Columbia.
