South Bruce Peninsula Prepares to Unveil New Tourism Plan

In a significant move for the tourism sector, South Bruce Peninsula (Ontario, Canada) is on the brink of unveiling a detailed tourism strategy and action plan. This initiative is a testament to the town’s commitment to bolstering its tourism offerings and fostering sustainable economic growth.

The much-anticipated plan is set to be presented by consultants McQueen Galloway Associates during a tourism stakeholder meeting scheduled in Sauble Beach. This Thursday evening event is expected to draw significant attention from various stakeholders in the tourism industry.

MATA’s focus is multifaceted, targeting five primary areas. These include staff recruitment and housing, extending the tourism season, enhancing tourism infrastructure like washrooms and parking, ‘elevating’ the overall visitor experience, and fostering improved coordination and communication.

The upcoming stakeholder meeting promises to be a significant event for the region’s tourism sector. Scheduled to take place at Carson’s Campground, the meeting will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 21.
