City of Enderby Seeks Proposals for Riverside RV Park Management

The City of Enderby is inviting proposals for the management and operation of the Riverside RV Park and Campground, located at 112 Kildonan Avenue in Enderby, British Columbia. This opportunity includes on-site housing for the selected contractor, intended to support management duties.

The Riverside RV Park and Campground is situated along the Shuswap River and is within walking distance of downtown Enderby.

The facility offers a total of 67 campsites accommodating recreational vehicles, tents, and campers with varying levels of services.

Amenities include a washroom and shower building, a covered kitchen and gathering area, an office connected to a two-bedroom house, a sani-dump station, and a shop. Additional services such as firewood and ice sales are available at the office.

According to a press release, the campground operates year-round, with a peak season running from May 1 through Thanksgiving weekend. During the winter season, from October 1 to April 30, 15 full hook-up sites remain open to accommodate winter campers.

Interested contractors can access detailed information about the facility at the campground’s website and download the Request for Proposal (RFP) form. Proposals will be accepted until January 24, 2025, at 3:00 p.m.

Riverside RV Park is described as offering a blend of natural surroundings and convenient amenities. Its location along the Shuswap River provides opportunities for outdoor activities such as paddling, fishing, and walking along the Jim Watt Heritage Riverwalk.

Nearby attractions include a drive-in movie theatre, golf courses, a swimming pool, and cross-country skiing trails, making it an appealing destination for a variety of visitors.

The City of Enderby highlights Riverside RV Park’s central location as a key draw, positioned between Vancouver and Calgary and midway between Kamloops and Kelowna. The park is a popular choice for families, groups, and event organizers seeking a balance of nature and accessibility.
