Vernon’s SilverStar Mountain Resort, an all-seasons destination in the North Okanagan in Canada, has tentatively scheduled its summer operations to commence on June 21, unveiling enhancements designed to cater to a wide range of visitors. Additionally, summer camping and accommodation bookings are now open online, providing visitors with the opportunity to secure their stay at the resort.
The mountain resort also announced a series of new features and updates that are set to enhance the experience for mountain biking enthusiasts, outdoor adventurers, and summer camping.
According to a Castanet report, SilverStar Mountain offers views of breathtaking Okanagan mountains. With a plethora of recreational activities, the resort offers outdoor experiences, from gondola rides, cross-country biking trails, and forest trails to mountain trails.
Among the introductions are significant updates and new woodwork on the resort’s popular technical and flow trails within the Bike Park. These enhancements aim to elevate the riding experience, providing fresh challenges and excitement for returning and new riders. Additionally, SilverStar is in the process of completing a new accessible hiking loop at the top of the Gondola, further diversifying the recreational activities available to guests.
The resort is also near the completion of new progression-based jump lines, which are expected to feature both blue and black options within the Vault Progression Zone. This development is part of SilverStar’s commitment to offering varied levels of difficulty, catering to the progression of riders from beginners to advanced levels.
SilverStar has launched sales for summer bike passes and ride cards, allowing visitors to plan their summer adventures and secure early bird pricing.
2024 marks the 30th anniversary of the SilverStar Bike Park, a milestone that underscores the community’s efforts in establishing a world-class biking destination. Early bird season passes and Ride Cards are available for purchase until June 4, with the resort encouraging enthusiasts to take advantage of these offers.
