Vernon’s New RV Sani-Dump Station Ready for Long Weekend Operations

As per a report, the City of Vernon (British Columbia, Canada) is set to open its new RV sani-dump station at 6401 Tronson Rd., just in time for the long weekend.

Located near the Vernon Regional Airport, the new station will replace the former sani-dump at the Kin Racetrack grounds, which has been decommissioned to make way for the construction of the new Vernon Active Living Centre.

Beginning Friday, the upgraded facility will be available for use, featuring four waste-dumping and water-filling stations. Additionally, the site has been designed with ample stacking distance to accommodate up to 14 recreational vehicles simultaneously, ensuring a smooth and efficient user experience.

To maintain the flow of traffic, the station has implemented a one-way access system. Motorists should enter at the east entrance and exit on the west end of the site. This arrangement will help prevent congestion and improve overall efficiency at the sani-dump.

As part of the site’s efforts to reduce user costs, no garbage service will be provided. Instead, users are encouraged to dispose of their garbage at designated facilities elsewhere. The focus on streamlining services ensures that the sani-dump remains cost-effective for both the city and its patrons.

The sani-dump station will operate from dawn until dusk, seven days a week, throughout the summer season. ACA $4 dumping fee can be paid in cash at the deposit box, or through pay-by-phone using location #4736. Offering multiple payment options adds convenience for users with varying preferences.

As RV tourism continues to grow in popularity, the opening of this new sani-dump station demonstrates the City of Vernon’s commitment to meeting the needs of its residents and tourists alike. RV enthusiasts can now enjoy their recreational activities with the assurance of a modern and efficient waste disposal facility for their vehicles.

The new sani-dump station also serves as a reminder to RV users about the importance of responsible waste management practices. Proper disposal of waste contributes to maintaining a clean environment for both residents and visitors, ensuring that the beauty and appeal of the area remain intact.

The opening of Vernon’s new sani-dump station showcases the city’s dedication to providing necessary facilities for its growing RV community. The upgraded site, with its streamlined services and user-friendly design, will undoubtedly contribute to a better experience for RV users in the region while promoting responsible waste management practices.
