A new marina and other improvements are planned after the purchase of a Shuswap (British Columbia, Canada) RV and fishing resort.
Calgary-based Pinnacle Lifestyles has recently announced its acquisition of the former Sunny Shore RV and Fishing Resort.
According to a report, the facility will be under the new name Pinnacle Trails White Lake RV and Fishing Resort.
The company owns four resorts and RV lifestyle properties located in B.C. and Alberta and plans to open four additional properties in some of B.C.’s most sought-after destinations this year.
It has also recently purchased Kokanee Springs Resort in Crawford Bay, situated on Kootenay Lake.
White Lake is located 20 minutes north of Salmon Arm.
The lake is famous for its world-class rainbow trout fishing. It is annually stocked with 40,000 yearlings.
The resort provides RV camping sites, cabins, and a fishing lodge.
“We believe RV owners should have greater access to affordable, healthy outdoor fun and RV recreation. We’re committed to growing our family of resorts in 2022 by launching new properties with incredible amenities for all ages. Our resort offerings include site rentals, seasonal sites, long-term leases as well as recreational property ownership opportunities in various locations,” said Marketing Manager Mark Burke.
Improvements to the resort’s infrastructure are planned to enhance the fishing and RV experience.
Currently, it has 38 serviced RV campsites, ten cabins, a fishing lodge that can sleep ten guests, convenience stores, boat rentals, kayaks, and more.
Meanwhile, the Kokanee Springs Resort has an 18-hole golf course that offers amazing views of Kootenay Lake on 425 acres located at the base of the Selkirk Mountains.
A brand new restaurant on the premises, bar, and an off-site marina and beach club are also scheduled to begin operations this year, while cabin and RV lots are under construction.
