The BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association (BCLCA) will host a free webinar on March 12 aimed at helping campground owners and managers strengthen pricing strategies and revenue performance ahead of the 2026 season.
Scheduled for 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time, the session will be held in conjunction with the Canadian Camping and RV Association and will focus on dynamic pricing, minimum-stay strategies, and revenue opportunities during shoulder seasons.
The webinar, titled “2026 Revenue Playbook: Dynamic Pricing, Minimum Stays & Shoulder-Season Growth,” is designed to provide campground operators with practical guidance on improving yield management and optimizing occupancy levels.
The session will outline a repeatable system intended to help campground businesses refine pricing models and increase booking performance.
The presentation will address strategies for adjusting rates based on demand while also identifying opportunities to capture additional revenue during slower periods.
Topics scheduled for discussion include the fundamentals of dynamic pricing, strategies for setting minimum stays depending on season and booking window, and methods for generating additional revenue during midweek and shoulder-season periods.
The session will also explore value-based add-ons that can increase booking revenue per stay, along with a 90-day action plan that campground operators can implement during the spring in preparation for the upcoming camping season.
Campground businesses relying on flat-rate pricing may benefit from adopting more flexible pricing approaches to improve occupancy and overall revenue performance.
The webinar forms part of broader educational efforts by BCLCA, a nonprofit trade association representing independently owned and operated small- and mid-size lodging businesses, campgrounds, and RV parks in British Columbia.
Founded in 1944, the association operates as a membership-driven organization that advocates for the interests of the province’s hospitality and outdoor accommodation sector.
In addition to educational programming, BCLCA supports members through consumer marketing initiatives across online and print channels, group purchasing programs with industry suppliers, and collaboration with industry groups to address regulatory matters affecting the sector.
The association also promotes service excellence, commissions primary market research, and works to advance business practices and industry standards within the campground and lodging sector.
