Tasman Holiday Parks in Australia announced the acquisition of North Star Holiday Resort, located on the Tweed Coast in Hastings Point, New South Wales (NSW). This strategic acquisition expands Tasman Holiday Parks’ portfolio.
“Our acquisition of North Star represents a strategic investment to enhance and expand a resort renowned for setting industry benchmarks and fostering community ties,” Nikki Milne, CEO of Tasman Holiday Parks, said in a press release.
North Star Holiday Resort is a getaway for outdoor enthusiasts, founded by Ian and Diana Beadel. The caravan park in Hastings Point offers 25 luxury villas, 27 cabins, 19 ensuite powered sites, and 56 powered sites.
North Star rebrands as Tasman Holiday Parks – North Star and will continue under new stewardship. Situated in a coastal locale, North Star Holiday Resort features a wide array of accommodation options and on-site amenities, catering to a broad spectrum of travelers’ needs.
From luxury villas and spacious lodges to camping sites, the resort offers diverse lodging options. A water park, dining options, wellness and spa services, a tennis court, a games room, a pool table, an outdoor playground, and a sizable barbecue area with a kitchenette are among the attractions that complement it. Its proximity to natural attractions and outdoor activities like beaches, hiking trails, and water sports further enriches the visitor experience.
Tasman Holiday Parks is set to enhance acquisition by integrating its values of quality into the resort for the best guest experience. The company announced plans for further development and enhancements aimed at not only preserving the resort’s legacy but also introducing innovative amenities and services.
“For four decades, the Beadel family has developed North Star into a distinguished holiday destination, synonymous with quality and service on the Tweed Coast. We recognize their significant contributions to the industry and the community and are dedicated to preserving and elevating this legacy,” Milne added.
