Online Marketplace Platform Ventures into Camping and Caravan Market with New Partnership

Marketplacer, an online marketplace platform, has established itself on the Australian market with the launch of a new market in the form of Everything Caravan & Camping.

According to a report, Marketplacer is a platform that enables customers to create all types of marketplaces.

Marketplacer offers a plug-and-play platform that facilitates creating marketplaces for products, services, events, and bookings.

The new market, Everything Caravan & Camping, was developed to meet the demands of a market segment worth an estimated AUD$24 billion annually, with more than 800,000 registered caravans in Australia. As it stands, the marketplace currently offers more than 2,000 products from 15 vendors.

Everything Caravan & Camping portal was a fantastic example of how e-commerce was reshaping the way people locate and purchase goods,” said Marketplacer Executive Chair Jason Wyatt.

“It meets the needs of an enthusiastic and active community and will continue to grow during coming years.”

Leisure-Tec Australia CEO Paul Widdis, who developed and constructed the website, believes that having markets like this would assist in the development of the online buying community and help discover the most effective solutions to meet their needs.

We have established the marketplace in collaboration with the popular social media-based group Everything Caravan & Camping, which was established back in 2014,” Widdis added.

“The group has more than 700,000 members on a number of platforms and has become the go-to destination for those seeking information, tips, and recommendations,” Widdis said.

When it came to choosing an underlying technology platform for the Marketplace, Widdis said his company wanted a platform that could provide flexibility, scalability, as well as local support. They looked at previous examples of Marketplacer’s implemented technology to make a decision.

With the expansion options being a significant element of Marketplacer’s technology, Widdis said he intends to expand the Everything Caravan & Camping site to provide access to service providers and recommend everything from equipment maintenance to insurance.

“Currently, it can be a challenge to find appropriate servicing facilities and support for caravans and associated equipment,” Widdis said.

“Through the site, people will be able to access everything they need and ensure their equipment is operating at peak performance at all times.”

Widdis also believes that an established technology partnership is essential for the performance of any marketplace and will continue to collaborate with Marketplacer to come up with new ideas.
