Australia’s Ingenia Holiday Parks seems to have hit the jackpot after some of its parks received nominations for the 2022 Caravan Parks Association of Queensland (CPAQ) Conference Awards happening at the end of the month.

The award winners will be announced on March 28 at the 2022 CPAQ Conference at RACV Royal Pines, Gold Coast.

The parks boasting the “home away from home” feel are up for bringing home the bacon along with other Queensland parks vying for the win.

According to the conference’s website, judges had a tough time shortlisting finalists, simmering down nominations to a record-breaking 65 parks this year.

Out of the 11 awards to be given, Ingenia Holiday Parks’s properties were finalists for almost half of the awards with Jean Wilson of Ingenia Holidays Rivershore nominated for Employee of the Year Award, Big 4 Ingenia Holidays Cairns Coconut for Good Corporate Citizen Award, and Brisbane North Rental Village for Gordon Harris Turnaround Award. Also nominated are Ingenia Holidays Noosa for the Refurbishment Award and Ingenia Holidays Rivershore for the Ray Fitton Award for Innovation.

The CPAQ Awards allow Queensland caravan parks and team members to review and reflect on their activities each year. The awards also allow parks and their staff to create carefully considered nominations and be recognized for their outstanding work and initiatives, as per the CPAQ Conference website.

Award winners and finalists will be celebrated during the awards dinner with wine sponsored by BDO, a company providing specialized solutions to the business needs of the caravanning industry.

Other awards and recognitions to be given are Simon Warner Memorial Young Achiever of the Year Award, Team of the Year, Outstanding Host Award, Environmental Award, Tidy Park Award, and WTF!?! Award.
