Hipcamp has added more than 60 Hampshire Holiday Parks across Australia and New Zealand to its booking platform, expanding the company’s inventory of established outdoor accommodation options in the region.
The partnership allows campers to book a wider range of Hampshire Holidays properties through Hipcamp, including coastal holiday parks, family-friendly caravan parks, powered sites, camping areas and self-contained cabins, according to a May 19 announcement from the company.
The newly added Hampshire Holidays collection includes more than 60 parks across Australia and New Zealand and is now live on the Hipcamp platform. The move expands Hipcamp’s portfolio of professional campground and holiday park listings as the company continues to grow its presence in the outdoor hospitality sector.
The agreement also provides Hampshire Holidays access to Hipcamp’s community of campers searching for outdoor travel accommodations through online booking platforms.
“We’re excited to partner with Hampshire Holidays, one of Australia’s best-known holiday park groups,” Alyssa Ravasio, founder and CEO of Hipcamp, said in a press release.
“Hipcamp campers are always searching for more great places to stay outdoors, and they value the kind of services, reliability and choice that Hampshire Holidays and BIG4 parks offer,” Ravasio said. “Together, we can help more campers discover these parks, book great camping trips, and support the wider camping economy.”
The partnership follows Hipcamp’s continued expansion of its professional campground and holiday park inventory across Australia and New Zealand, according to the company.
Hipcamp said more outdoor hospitality operators are seeking new ways to reach campers, increase bookings and respond to changing traveler expectations around online discovery and instant booking.
The Hampshire Holidays collection available through Hipcamp includes a mix of accommodation types designed for different camping and travel preferences. The properties span holiday parks, caravan parks, camping areas and cabin accommodations across multiple destinations in Australia and New Zealand.
Hipcamp describes itself as an app for finding and booking campsites across private properties, public lands and commercial campgrounds. The company said its platform serves more than 8 million registered campers globally.
According to the announcement, Hipcamp’s platform includes tent camping, RV sites and glamping accommodations. The company said it continues to expand partnerships with professional campground and outdoor hospitality operators as demand for digital booking platforms grows within the camping industry.
