Maharashtra Tourism has announced the launch of the Eco Glamping Festival, scheduled to take place in Nasik from January 15 to March 15, 2025. The event will be held at the scenic Gangapur Dam Backwaters, located near Tower House.
The location is known for its serene landscapes, offering a backdrop that merges nature with luxury and adventure. The festival aims to provide visitors with a combination of high-end glamping accommodations and immersive cultural experiences.
The Eco Glamping Festival will feature luxurious tents set in natural surroundings, offering comfort while engaging guests in various activities designed to highlight Maharashtra’s cultural and natural heritage.
According to a report by the Times of India, the event is intended to offer both relaxation and an opportunity for participants to explore the region’s traditions.
One of the central attractions of the festival will be the Wine Experience Centre. Visitors will have the chance to taste wines from Nashik, often referred to as the “Wine Capital of India,” which has a long history in winemaking.
In addition to the wine experiences, a Craft & Food Bazaar will showcase local crafts and regional cuisine, providing a comprehensive cultural experience for attendees.
For those interested in a deeper understanding of the local culture, the festival’s Rural Experience will offer a chance to interact with village traditions.
Adventurers will also find plenty to do, as the festival will feature activities such as tandem cycling, trekking, paragliding, ATV rides, paintball, and more.
In addition to adventure and cultural activities, the festival will offer a range of culinary options and entertainment. Interactive sessions and performances will cover topics like photography, biodynamic farming, naturopathy, tribal art, and eco-marine exploration.
