OHI Names Finalists for 2026 Park Innovator of the Year Awards

OHI has named finalists for its 2026 Park Innovator of the Year Awards, recognizing campgrounds and RV parks for innovations in guest experiences and business operations across four park-size categories.

The finalists will compete in the small, medium, large and mega park categories, with properties selected in each group.

According to a LinkedIn post, winners will be announced during the Awards of Excellence Luncheon at the Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE) 2026 on Nov. 9 in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Park Innovator of the Year Award recognizes parks that introduce changes to how they serve guests and manage their businesses. The award considers both smaller, do-it-yourself improvements and larger technology implementations, according to OHI’s announcement.

Small park finalists are Aspen Grove RV Park in Tremonton, Utah; Martin Stream Campground in Turner, Maine; Quilly’s Magnolia RV Park in Rockport, Texas; COTA RV Park in Austin, Texas; and Ruby Creek Resort in Cusick, Washington.

Medium park finalists are El Campo Lost Lagoon RV Resort in El Campo, Texas; Greensport RV Park and Campground in Ashville, Alabama; Roundabout Oxford RV and Water Resort in Oxford, Mississippi; Twisted Parrot Luxury RV Resort in Montgomery, Texas; and Chincoteague Bay RV Resort and Cottages in Chincoteague, Virginia.

The large park category includes Camp Margaritaville Auburndale in Auburndale, Florida; Jellystone Park Zion in Hurricane, Utah; Jellystone Park Lakes Region in Milton, New Hampshire; Roundup Lake Campground in Mantua, Ohio; and Santee Lakes in Santee, California.

Mega park finalists are Camp Margaritaville Breaux Bridge in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana; Jellystone Park Clay’s Resort in North Lawrence, Ohio; Sun Outdoors Rocky Mountains in Granby, Colorado; Lakewood Camping Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and Resort at Erie Landing in Port Clinton, Ohio.

The awards are part of OHI’s broader recognition program for outdoor hospitality businesses. The innovation category focuses on changes intended to improve guest experiences or campground operations, with finalists spanning properties of different sizes and locations.

OHCE 2026 will bring campground owners, RV park operators and outdoor hospitality professionals together for education, industry discussions and networking.

The conference program is designed to address topics including marketing, guest experience, management, park operations and technologies affecting campground businesses.
