The annual awards program, now in its fifth consecutive year, included a new Fan Favorite Award selected through social media voting. Nominations closed Aug. 25, followed by finalist voting that ran through Sept. 22.

Thousands of voters participated in selecting this year’s winners, with New Bern KOA Holiday receiving two awards for Best Campground Features and Amenities and Best Waterfront Campground.

Other campground winners included Gulfport Luxury RV Resort for Best Luxury RV Resort, Las Cruces KOA Holiday for Best Campground Views, and Verde Ranch RV Resort for Best Family-Friendly Campground.

Coachella Lakes RV Resort was named Best Winter Escape Campground, while Savannah Lakes RV Resort received the Best Pet-Friendly Campground award. Buckeye Ranch RV Resort won Best New Campground of 2026.

Brighton / 401 KOA Holiday was recognized as Best Summer Escape Campground, while Thousand Trails Yosemite Lakes won Best National Park Campground and Myrtle Beach State Park received the Best State Park Campground award.

Dwell Lake Havasu RV Resort was named Best Alternative Camping Experience.

The awards also recognized RV-focused media and content creators. RV Out West Podcast won both Best RV and Camping Podcast and the new Fan Favorite Award. Gills On Wheels received RV Travel Content Creator of the Year, while KOA Camping Blog was named Best RV and Camping Blog.

According to a press release, RVshare VP of Marketing Maddi Bourgerie said the awards recognize both travel experiences and the people producing content for RV travelers.

“This annual event serves a dual purpose, both helping travelers across the US discover the best RV camping experiences, while also acknowledging the dedication and creativity of campgrounds, their teams, and the content creators who inspire countless individuals to explore the outdoors,” Bourgerie said.
