RV Industry Businesses Drive Record Participation in National Go RVing Day 2026

National Go RVing Day 2026 marked its largest celebration to date, with RV industry businesses across the country supporting the annual campaign through promotions, social media initiatives and community events aimed at encouraging RV travel.

Industry participation helped generate nationwide awareness for the special day through a mix of local activities, digital campaigns and customer outreach. The event’s success reflected broad collaboration across multiple sectors of the RV industry.

According to a News and Insights report of RVIA on June 23, CRR Hospitality properties hosted fishing tournaments, nostalgic-themed activities and campfire socials that brought together guests and local communities. TravlFi supported the occasion with a flash promotion promoted through email and other communication channels.

Several manufacturers and brands highlighted National Go RVing Day through social media content. Coachmen RV released an Instagram reel celebrating everyday moments, while Grand Design RV shared a reel recognizing the occasion. Patrick Industries also spotlighted its Traveling Allies and their plans for National Go RVing Day.

Digital platforms and media outlets produced content tied to the campaign. RV Trader created a YouTube video dedicated to the special day, and The RV Insider published an Instagram post outlining ways consumers could participate. Great American RV released a short-form YouTube video focused on reasons to travel by RV.

Jayco used Facebook to highlight the RV-2-50 passport, a program promoted as part of the broader campaign. The efforts ranging from social media posts and email campaigns to local events and earned media outreach helped inspire travelers to explore by RV.

According to the campaign update, National Go RVing Day achieved its strongest results when businesses across the industry worked together. Every promotion, customer interaction and media opportunity contributed to what organizers described as a nationwide surge of enthusiasm for RV travel.

Although National Go RVing Day has concluded, organizers said industry participants can continue building on the momentum by incorporating RV-2-50 content into their marketing efforts. Businesses are also encouraged to promote the Travel Passport and Share Your Story contest throughout the year.

Organizers thanked participating companies and businesses for helping make National Go RVing Day 2026 a success.
