RV Women’s Alliance Seeks Volunteers for Kids Night at New Paris Speedway on July 25

The RV Women’s Alliance (RVWA) is seeking volunteers for Kids Night at New Paris Speedway on July 25, where industry members will help distribute school supplies and support fundraising activities aimed at benefiting the local community.

Volunteers are needed to assist with stuffing backpacks with school supplies and winter hats and gloves.

Additional responsibilities include working concession stands, selling 50/50 raffle tickets and helping recruit new members for the RVWA.

The event marks another collaboration between the RVWA and New Paris Speedway, with organizers emphasizing community outreach efforts tied to the annual Kids Night program and backpack initiative.

“New Paris Speedway is thrilled to once again partner with RVWA to give back to the community through our kids’ night and pack a backpack initiative. The RV Women’s Alliance embodies the essence of community service, and NPS aligns with their mission,” Tracy Anglemeyer, RVWA board chair and owner of New Paris Speedway, said in a News and Insights report of RVIA.

Donations will also be accepted from those unable to volunteer. Contributions will support the backpack initiative, and a list of approved school supplies has been made available by the organization.

The event is open to families and will include a full evening of racing. Outside food and beverages will be permitted, although organizers asked attendees not to bring glass containers or pets.

Five racing divisions are scheduled to compete during the program. They include Hornets, Raber Dirtworx 4 Cylinders, Monteith’s Street Stocks and Hunter Engineering Limited Late Models.

Kids Night activities will take place at New Paris Speedway, with gates opening at 1 p.m. Eastern and racing scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.

Admission for adults is $15, while children ages 12 and under will be admitted free of charge. Pit passes are priced at $35, with online purchases available for $30.

The RVWA said participation from volunteers and donors will help support the event’s community initiatives. Organizers encouraged industry members and their families to attend the race program and take part in Kids Night activities.

The annual event combines racing entertainment with volunteer opportunities and fundraising efforts intended to provide school supplies and winter clothing items for children.

The partnership between the RVWA and New Paris Speedway continues a shared effort to support local families through community-focused programs.
