Jellystone Park Niagara Falls Expands Glamping Offerings With New Yurts for 2026 Season

Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Niagara Falls, Ontario, is expanding its rental accommodation inventory with the addition of four new glamping yurts ahead of the 2026 camping season.

The 225-site campground, which serves RV, tent and rental guests, currently offers 55 rental accommodation units. Its lodging options include 17 cabins, 19 park models, 16 glamping yurts and three fully furnished 40-foot rental trailers. The four new yurts are being installed in time for this year’s camping season.

According to a press release, Greg Amadio, who owns and operates the campground with his family, said the rental accommodations provide an alternative for guests who want a camping experience without purchasing their own equipment.

“All of these rental options are great ways to camp without having to buy equipment,” Amadio said.

The campground has also adapted to changing guest preferences by installing electrical outlets at several tent sites. According to Amadio, the additions allow campers to recharge laptops and cellphones while staying at the resort.

“We’re finding more families and kids are relying on technology when they are at the park so the electrical outlets are helpful for them,” Amadio said.

The campground’s mobile app has also increased demand for charging access, Amadio said, noting that many visitors use the app to view activity schedules and obtain information about the property during their stay.

Located about 3.5 miles from Niagara Falls, the campground attracts visitors who use the property as a base for exploring the destination. Amadio said the campground offers tour packages and transportation options for guests visiting the falls.

The resort has continued to invest in amenities and attractions, including a 6,500-square-foot multilevel aqua play structure featuring water slides and a dump bucket. The attraction is described as the only outdoor splashground in the Niagara Falls area.

Additional amenities include a 34-foot inflatable water slide, an outdoor heated pool area, a giant jumping pillow, pedal karts and a miniature golf course.

The campground also offers organized family activities and themed weekends featuring Yogi Bear, Boo Boo and Cindy Bear characters.

The Niagara Falls location has received several industry recognitions. In 2022, it earned the Canadian Camping and RV Council’s Campground of the Year Award. In 2025, the resort received Camp Jellystone’s Maple Leaf Award, which recognizes a Canadian franchise’s commitment to the Jellystone Park brand.

The campground first opened in 1965 and joined the Jellystone Park franchise network in 1977. The Amadio family acquired the property in 2004 and has continued to expand its accommodations and guest amenities since taking ownership.
