RVezy is marking its 10th year in business with a two-week promotion offering Canadian residents CA$100 off campground delivery on travel trailer rentals, a move the company says is aimed at making RV travel more accessible to first-time users and families.
The peer-to-peer RV rental marketplace announced that the discount applies to travel trailer bookings with campground delivery selected and is available through June 15, using the promotional code 10YEARSCAN.
According to the company, campground delivery has become the fastest-growing booking option on its platform, particularly among first-time renters and families with young children.
Under the service, a host delivers the travel trailer to a campground, where it is parked, leveled and connected before guests arrive.
Michael McNaught, founder and CEO of RVezy, said concerns about operating an RV remain one of the primary barriers for travelers interested in trying RV vacations.
“Most people who want to try RV travel are not worried about the trip. They are worried about the trailer,” McNaught said in a press release. “Delivery removes that. You book a campsite, the trailer is waiting when you get there, and the vacation starts the moment you pull in.”
The company said delivered travel trailers can be arranged at campgrounds near water parks, music festivals, sports tournaments, provincial parks, national monuments and family gatherings, allowing travelers to stay close to destinations without towing or setting up an RV themselves.
McNaught also said many RV trips are centered around events and attractions rather than traditional camping experiences.
“Some of the best RV weekends are not in the woods,” McNaught said. “They are at a campground five minutes from the water slides, or down the road from a long-weekend music festival. That is the trip we want more families to try.”
RVezy said it now lists more than 100,000 RVs across Canada and the United States. The company also stated that every booking includes trip protection options, insurance coverage and access to a North American support team.
Founded in Ottawa in 2016, RVezy has grown into one of North America’s largest RV rental marketplaces, according to the company.
