Unique Camping + Marine has entered a partnership with Care Camps Foundation to support camp experiences for children with cancer across the United States and Canada.
The collaboration centers on financial contributions and customer engagement initiatives aimed at expanding access to pediatric oncology camps, where children attend at no cost to their families.
The effort also includes potential volunteer involvement by company employees at camps located near its operations.
Under the agreement, Unique Camping + Marine will provide ongoing corporate donations to Care Camps Foundation.
The company also plans to integrate giving opportunities into its customer transactions through co-branded materials and a dedicated donation option included with product orders.
The partnership aligns with its focus on outdoor experiences and family engagement. Ricky Stewart, executive director of sales and marketing at Unique Camping + Marine, said the initiative reflects the company’s broader mission.
“At Unique Camping + Marine, we’re all about helping families make real, lasting memories,” Stewart said. “We are honored to support Care Camps Foundation, who help bring this idea to life for the kids and families who need it most.”
Care Camps Foundation, which works with a network of oncology camps, said the partnership will help sustain programming that provides outdoor experiences for children undergoing or recovering from cancer treatment.
“We are grateful to partner with Unique Camping + Marine as they bring both their team and their customers into this effort,” said Jenna Berneck, development director at Care Camps Foundation.
“Their commitment helps make possible safe and accessible camp experiences where children with cancer can enjoy the outdoors, build friendships, and simply be kids, while families find connection and support,” Berneck added.
The initiative also reflects broader participation from outdoor industry stakeholders supporting the foundation’s programs. Through such partnerships, Care Camps Foundation aims to maintain access to camp environments designed to support both children and their families during treatment and recovery.
