RV Life Hacks: Water and Sewer

RVers and campers know that when you’re out on the open road, you’ve got to be prepared for anything. That means being ready for any weather conditions, and being able to take care of basic needs like water and sewer. In this video, full-time RVers Liz and Paul share their tips on how to RV without water hookups or sewer at the campsite.

It’s not unusual to find campgrounds without water and sewer. Most of the time, off-grid campgrounds rarely offer these utilities, creating a rustic camping experience for guests. What amplifies the experience further are wonderful views that only nature can provide.

Still, the lack of water and sewer hookups can be a deal breaker for some. By taking a collapsible water bladder and drill-powered pump wherever they go, Liz and Paul can enjoy their trip to the fullest without having to be picky about their campsite.

The couple also uses a macerator pump with a large hose as a solution to the unavailability of sewer.

By following these tips, RVers can enjoy the freedom of the open road without worrying about having access to water hookups or sewer at the campsite.
