Off-road camping proves to be popular as more and more people explore the nation’s wonders. Those who stay for longer have a lot to keep in mind when taking their home with them on their travels. One of the RV must-haves is solar capability. In this video, Josh the Nerd at Bish’s RV gives us a tour of the all-new off-grid series by Jayco equipped with solar and lithium batteries.
Looking for an RV to take with you off the beaten path? Jayco has answered the call with the Volare, a travel trailer that is not only spacious and comfortable despite being compact, but also stylish and modern.
Taking inspiration from its Australian models, Jayco built the Jay Feather Volare to sport a different look from the usual boxy rig.
Moreover, at 20 feet in length, this travel trailer comes with amenities such as a dinette, a kitchen with a microwave oven and refrigerator, and more but in a smaller package that is easy to tow.
Not to mention, this rig comes with plenty of storage to stow items. For bringing gear, the Volare has a rear cargo door.
The all-aluminum structure also has a one-piece fiberglass roof outfitted with 400 watts of factory solar. In addition, the travel trailer comes with 400 amp hours of lithium batteries, plus a 1,800-watt inverter, making it well suited for providing impressive function when out of the parks and untethered, said Josh.
The Jayco Volare travel trailer is an interesting option for those looking for an off-grid recreational vehicle. It’s not as large as some of the other options on the market, but it still offers plenty of space and amenities for a comfortable camping experience.
