Crystal Creek Campground along the Gros Ventre Road near Wyoming’s Bridger Teton National Forest is temporarily closed due to downed trees after a microburst last weekend.
According to a report, at least one trail in the area is also temporally closed until the downed trees can be cleared.
Last Sunday, the Grizzly Lake Trail and Blue Miner Lake Trail suffered from the weather event, and roads are inaccessible past West Miner Creek.
Work to clear hundreds of downed trees will begin next week, according to Forest Spokesperson Mary Cernicek.
Cleanup will most likely take a week or so, he added.
