Pepin County (Wisconsin) has launched “Get Outside! Outdoors in Pepin County,” a summer-themed campaign highlighting its outdoor activities and encouraging people to visit the county for beverages, food, shopping, attractions, and outdoor activities.
The campaign will run until September. It’s designed to promote market sales, encouraging families and outdoor enthusiasts to take advantage of outdoor recreation and other activities in the region that borders the Mississippi River.
Pepin County offers a range of restaurants, lodgings, shopping, and other sports. The County provides a variety of outdoor activities for the novice to the experienced outdoor enthusiast.
The highlights of the community include beautiful downtowns, boating options, and local farmer’s markets. It also has extensive hiking trails, such as Maiden Rock Bluff and the river delta, Tiffany Bottoms State Natural Area wildlife viewing in the hardwood forests, grasslands, and the bottomlands.

The winner will be awarded an overnight stay at The Lost Creek Retreat, dinner at the Harbor View Cafe, pie from Stockholm Pie and General Store, and a bottle of wine from Villa Bellezza Winery & Vineyards.
Wisconsin’s Destination Marketing Organizations Grant Program proceeds will benefit the many shops, attractions, and restaurants located within Pepin County.
The program is designed to provide tourism development and promotion helping to restore the economy of Wisconsin after the COVID-19 pandemic. The funds for this program were granted to Wisconsin through Congress’s American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
