Winnebago Industries has announced the appointment of Mike Pack to its Board of Directors, effective January 8, 2025.
Pack, who serves as an executive vice president at Oshkosh Corporation, will join the board following the retirement of Richard Moss, who had served on Winnebago’s board for seven years.
David Miles, the chair of Winnebago’s board, expressed confidence in Pack’s ability to contribute to the company’s leadership in the outdoor recreation industry.
“Mike’s financial and management skillsets, as well as his manufacturing industry expertise, will be invaluable in helping the company achieve its goals,” Miles said. He added that the company looks forward to Pack’s guidance in the future.
Pack has been with Oshkosh Corporation, a global industrial technology company, since 2006.
In his current role as president of Oshkosh’s Vocational segment, Pack oversees several business lines, including Pierce fire trucks, McNeilus refuse and recycling vehicles, and Oshkosh AeroTech airport ground support equipment.
Pack also held the position of executive vice president and chief financial officer during his time at Oshkosh. Before joining the company, he was a senior audit manager at Grant Thornton LLP.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a certified public accountant.
“I am thrilled to join the Winnebago Industries board of directors,” Pack said. “Winnebago Industries includes some of the most iconic brands in the outdoor recreation industry, and I am excited to play a part in advancing the company’s short- and long-term objectives.”
In addition to his role on the board, Pack will serve on the Audit Committee and the Technology and Innovation Committee.
Winnebago President and CEO Michael Happe welcomed Pack in a press release.
“Mike is a tremendous addition to the board, bringing strong executive leadership and experience to bear. I know he embraces our purpose of elevating every moment outdoors and will help bring that ideal to our many customers and stakeholders.”
Pack’s appointment follows the retirement of Richard Moss in December 2024. Moss, who had been with Winnebago’s board for seven years, was thanked for his contributions to the company.
Kevin Bryant, who has served on the company’s board since 2021, has been appointed to succeed Moss as chair of the Audit Committee.
Winnebago Industries manufactures a range of outdoor recreation products, including motorhomes, travel trailers, and powerboats, under the Winnebago, Grand Design, Chris-Craft, Newmar, and Barletta brands.
The company operates multiple facilities across the U.S. and is committed to advancing sustainable innovation in its products.
