Wild Energy has announced a new integration with CampLife, a campground reservation and management software platform, in a move aimed at enhancing utility management for outdoor hospitality businesses.
The collaboration allows CampLife users to access real-time electricity usage data through Wild Energy’s smart metering technology, which is now directly connected to their property management systems.
By automating the process of utility data syncing, the integration reduces the need for manual input and associated errors, offering improved billing accuracy and operational transparency.
The partnership supports campgrounds and RV parks in billing short-stay and transient guests based on their actual electricity consumption, a practice that has previously presented challenges for many operators in the industry.
A large park operator, managing more than 1,000 sites, is already using the integration at one of the busiest parks in the United States.
The early adopter is reporting gains in operational efficiency and billing accuracy, particularly during high-traffic periods when administrative systems can become strained.
“This partnership with Wild Energy represents our ongoing commitment to providing campgrounds with the technology they need to operate more efficiently and serve guests better,” said Tyler Duffy, President of CampLife.
“By integrating Wild Energy’s smart metering into our platform, we’re helping parks take control of utility costs and day-to-day operations.”
Mike Sorensen, CEO of Wild Energy, also emphasized the practical benefits of the collaboration.
“Campgrounds are busy, dynamic environments—and utility billing shouldn’t be a bottleneck. This integration empowers operators to automate utility recapture, eliminate manual processes, and bill short-stay guests with precision and compliance. It’s a smarter way to manage your park and protect your bottom line.”
Wild Energy reports that this is its 11th integration with campground and marina management platforms. The company is continuing to expand its network of partnerships to help operators upgrade utility systems and recover utility-related expenses more effectively.
Although no specific launch date was provided, the integration is now live and in use by at least one major operator. Wild Energy has made further resources and information about the integration available here: wildenergyco.com
