REV Group has announced the sale of its Lance Camper Mfg. Corp. business to Vision Kore.
The transaction underscores REV Group’s sharpened focus on its motorized RV brands as part of a broader strategic realignment.
Lance Camper, headquartered in Lancaster, California, is known for its lightweight travel trailers and truck campers.
With the sale, REV Group will concentrate resources on its motorized offerings, which include Class A, B, and C vehicles under the Fleetwood RV, Holiday Rambler, American Coach, Midwest Automotive Designs, and Renegade RV brands.
The company said the move is designed to optimize operations by aligning production and development closer to its core motorized RV facilities.
“We are excited for the continued growth and success of Lance Camper under Vision Kore’s ownership. I want to acknowledge and thank the Lance team for their unwavering dedication, professionalism, and hard work,” Gary Gunter, president of REV Recreational Vehicles Segment, said in a press release.
Vision Kore, which specializes in the outdoor vehicle and equipment market, said it plans to build on Lance Camper’s legacy while retaining key leadership and team members.
“Lance Camper is an iconic brand of campers and trailers, and we are thrilled that it’s joining the Vision Kore family,” Bill Rex, co-founder of Vision Kore, said.
“We look forward to welcoming and working with the talented Lance Camper team led by Gary Conley who’s been with Lance over 40 years, building on the foundation laid by REV Group and continuing to serve the brand’s loyal customer base,” Rex added.
Lance Camper was founded in 1965 and has grown into a recognized name for its high-quality, ultra-lightweight composite-built products.
REV Group’s brands have deep roots in the specialty vehicle market, with several dating back over half a century. The company trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol REVG.
