In an email, the Virginia Campground Association (VCA) is encouraging its members to attend the Camping Carolinas Conference and Expo (CARVC), taking place February 1 to 3 in Myrtle Beach.
CARVC expands its reach for the first time through a new marketing campaign welcoming campground and RV park owners from Tennessee, Virginia, and Georgia.
“With over 2,200 verified campgrounds and RV operators across the Southeast, and through strategic messaging delivered via e-mail, social, and digital channels, this initiative is poised to drive record-breaking attendance and elevate CARVC’s impact to new heights,” CARVC announces in a press release.
The event offers campground and RV park operators educational sessions, networking opportunities, and specialized industry training.
The expo also provides a platform for professionals to connect with suppliers, attend expert-led sessions, and explore trends in outdoor hospitality.
The conference opens with a Pre-Conference NFPA 1194 training session on January 31. The session provides instruction on campground development standards, infrastructure, and safety.
Daily conference perks include a hot breakfast buffet and evening reception with appetizers and two complimentary drinks for guests staying at the Embassy Suites.
Networking-focused receptions include the “Spark the Flame” welcome reception, offering opportunities for peer engagement, and the “Fuel the Fire” Sponsor Spotlight Trivia, which introduces attendees to industry suppliers before the trade show.
“The Spark Market” trade show also showcases tools, trends, and connections with leading campground vendors, allowing participants to explore products and services to enhance operations, guest experience, and revenue streams.
Monday evening concludes with the “Burn Bright” reception, combining social engagement and fundraising. CARVC encourages contributions of auction items or services through the conference mobile app.
“A night of fun and fundraising with our auction. Please consider donating an auction item/service via the CARVC mobile app,” the event’s details indicate.
Educational sessions focus on fostering passion, profit, and purpose, led by experienced campground professionals providing practical insights for operational improvement and guest satisfaction.
The keynote, “Elevating the Customer from King to Emperor,” will be presented by entrepreneur Ken Corbin. Corbin’s address focuses on customer relationship management, service excellence, and strategies for retaining long-term clientele.
“Let’s kick-off our 2026 conference on developing relationships, creating and keeping customers for life. Make doing business with you easy! It’s all about quality service, exceeding customer expectations, and doing what you say you’ll do … when you say you’ll do it,” the conference states.
