Months of meticulous development and testing culminated in the recent splash test, which took place on March 25 at the picturesque BluFin Bungalows & Marina, located on the idyllic Chincoteague Island.
Collaborating with Roamers Marine, Beauchamp Construction, and the Blue Water Construction team, Great Outdoor Cottages successfully showcased the Bungalow Boat unit, marking a pivotal moment for the company’s future endeavors.

The Bungalow Boat units are designed to provide a luxurious glamping experience on the water, with a full kitchen equipped with modern appliances, a comfortable bathroom, a queen-sized bed for ultimate comfort, and a screened porch that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding water and allows guests to relax in style while enjoying stunning sunsets.
Great Outdoor Cottages is currently in the production phase of the Bungalow Boat units, which are expected to be shipped, assembled, and made available to the public in conjunction with the grand opening of BluFin Bungalows & Marina in the upcoming summer season. As a sister company of Blue Water, which owns and operates BluFin Bungalows & Marina, Great Outdoor Cottages aims to expand its offerings from land to sea, creating a new dimension of luxury accommodation options for avid adventurers and glamping enthusiasts alike.
