Velarium, an Airxcel brand, has launched its new Cut-to-Fit Awning Tube, now available exclusively in the RV aftermarket.
The product is designed to give RV owners, dealers, and mobile service providers a more durable and cost-efficient awning solution.
The awning tube, engineered for travel demands, aims to reduce frequent replacements and repairs. Velarium emphasized its space-saving design and streamlined packaging, which the company said helps reduce freight costs and simplify storage for dealerships and mobile operators.
According to the company, the new tube is built to deliver both strength and operational efficiency. By offering compact packaging, Velarium said it intends to help aftermarket professionals optimize space while lowering overall shipping expenses.
Installation was identified as a core focus of the product. The modular, quick-build design allows the tube to be cut to any required length and assembled in as little as 10 to 15 minutes, making it suitable for in-shop work or mobile repairs.
Each kit includes step-by-step instructions designed to ensure professional-quality installation regardless of the service environment. Velarium noted that the process is straightforward and accessible for technicians across experience levels.
“With the Cut-to-Fit Awning Tube, Velarium delivers the smarter and more efficient choice for awning upgrades,” said Todd Vice, Velarium’s director of aftermarket sales.
“We’re taking the stress, expense, and complexity out of awning tube replacement—so every customer can upgrade with confidence and ease,” Vice added.
The Cut-to-Fit Awning Tube is available in two kit options: a 22-foot version and a 14-foot version. Both are designed with adjustable lengths to accommodate different project requirements.
Each kit includes integrated LED lighting, a light rail, end caps, and an awning cradle, in addition to the tube sections.
The 22-foot kit features three outer tubes measuring 85.42 inches each, two inner tubes measuring 3 feet each, and all accompanying parts and lighting. This kit was designed for larger awning replacements or upgrades.
The 14-foot kit contains two outer tubes measuring 85.42 inches each, one inner tube measuring 3 feet, and the same integrated accessories. This option provides a compact alternative for smaller RVs or projects requiring shorter lengths.
Velarium, which launched in 2022 as part of the Airxcel family of brands, continues to expand its aftermarket offerings.
