Roam Echo Island has introduced five new cabins available for year-round booking, marking an expansion of its offerings in northeastern Utah.
The campground, part of the Roam America portfolio, will begin welcoming guests to the cabins on Oct. 1.
Located near Echo State Park along the Weber River, the cabins provide visitors with access to one of the region’s leading outdoor recreation areas. The additions are designed to attract solo travelers, couples, and families seeking a mountain retreat with modern amenities.
Each cabin accommodates up to four guests and combines a modern farmhouse design with contemporary conveniences. The interiors include a queen-size bed, two bunk beds, a kitchenette with appliances, a private bathroom with a shower, and a Smart TV for streaming.
Outdoor amenities extend the experience with picnic tables and firepits for evening gatherings. The layout is aimed at creating both comfort and functionality for a range of travelers.
Beyond lodging, Roam Echo Island emphasizes activities that engage all ages. The property’s “Roam Above” aerial ropes and zipline course gives visitors an overhead view of the landscape.
Additional features include an “Adventure Course,” a 1,500-square-foot trampoline net suspended 30 feet high, and two pickleball courts.
The campground also offers two resort-style pools and trout fishing from either the on-site pond or the adjacent Weber River. These activities are intended to expand guest options beyond traditional camping.
For those looking to explore the area, Echo State Park provides opportunities for kayaking, paddleboarding, wakeboarding, and fishing. Its location near major scenic routes positions Roam Echo Island as a base for travelers combining outdoor recreation with comfortable lodging.
Nightly rates for the cabins begin at $225, with a two-night minimum stay required. Pricing increases on peak weekends, reflecting seasonal demand in the region.
“At Roam Echo Island, we’re redefining the campground experience,” Cody Fishel, director of operations, Roam America, said in a press release. “Adding the cabins is an extension of our commitment to creating a welcoming atmosphere for every type of traveler, where all of our guests can enjoy the beauty of northeastern Utah and the authentic character of the area.”
Roam Echo Island spans 40 acres of tree-lined meadows and sits against the Wasatch Mountains. It combines natural surroundings with modern amenities tailored to today’s travelers.
The campground now offers six cabins, nine glamping tents, eight tent sites, and 157 RV sites, including premium, back-in, and pull-through options. All RV sites provide full hookups with 30/50-amp service.
On-site amenities include a clubhouse and general store, private bathhouses with showers and vanities, two outdoor pools, two hot tubs, upgraded wi-fi, and an amphitheater for outdoor movies. These features aim to broaden the appeal to guests seeking both leisure and convenience.
The property is located at 340 S 500 W in Coalville, Utah, roughly a 45-minute drive northeast of Salt Lake City. The site operates with 24/7 security to ensure a safe and reliable guest experience.
