Nationwide RV and Resorts Acquires Bryce Glamp and Camp Near Bryce Canyon for $3.6M

CANNONVILLE, Utah — May 2025 — Nationwide RV and Resorts, Inc. has purchased the luxury Bryce Glamp and Camp resort for $3.6 million, adding a high-end glamping destination 25 minutes from Bryce Canyon National Park to its growing portfolio, according to a press release.

The deal, announced this month, furthers the company’s strategy of expanding its outdoor-hospitality footprint and comes as its common stock trades on OTC Pink under the symbol NWRV. The transaction also strengthens Nationwide’s presence in one of the West’s busiest national-park gateways.

Nationwide RV and Resorts designs, owns and operates RV parks and resorts across the continental United States while its Nationwide Property Partners subsidiary acquires and leases residential real estate, giving the parent company multiple revenue streams that align with a luxury-glamping growth plan.

Opened in 2020 by the Childs family, Bryce Glamp and Camp features 13 climate-controlled geodesic domes outfitted with private bathrooms, kitchenettes and electric fireplaces, providing hotel-level comfort in a desert setting, according to the resort’s property listing.

Guests also have access to an 18-hole disc-golf course that doubles as a hiking trail, a volleyball court, horseshoe pits, cornhole boards and a check-in dome that houses a general store stocked with food, drinks and souvenirs.

The resort posted more than 90 percent occupancy in April 2025 and generated more than $1 million in 2024 revenue, buoyed by the roughly 2 million tourists who visit Bryce Canyon each year, according to the press release.

“We provide an amazing escape for everyone who stays with us,” said Veronica Childs, vice president of operations at Bryce Glamp and Camp, in the acquisition announcement.

Industry operators often launch a 90-day audit after a sale to align standard operating procedures, staffing levels and vendor contracts with corporate benchmarks. Feeding historical occupancy data into dynamic-pricing software can lift average daily rate 3 to 5 percent, while cross-selling stays through a shared loyalty program and standardizing KPI dashboards help preserve the property’s strong occupancy and revenue.

Best practices for post-acquisition integration can help resorts like Bryce Glamp and Camp maintain their performance. Retaining key on-site managers through the first high season preserves valuable institutional knowledge and helps prevent guest-experience issues immediately after a sale. Migrating historical ADR and occupancy data into a cloud-based dynamic-pricing platform can offset one-time integration costs. Cross-selling among sister properties via a shared loyalty program may extend guest stays and increase their lifetime value. Standardizing KPI dashboards ensures both the corporate office and on-site teams operate from the same scorecard. Scheduling capital improvements during shoulder seasons avoids revenue displacement and helps keep review scores above online travel agency thresholds.

Bryce Canyon’s fragile high-desert environment and guests’ increasing interest in sustainability create additional opportunities. Installing rooftop solar on maintenance sheds, recycling grey water for irrigation, using permeable walkways and switching to dark-sky-compliant lighting could cut utility costs and enhance the resort’s stargazing appeal, reinforcing Nationwide’s luxury-meets-nature positioning.

Operators near protected lands can further reduce environmental impact by providing eco-orientations at check-in, stocking reusable water bottles with refill stations to curb single-use plastics, and replacing traditional walkways with permeable paths to reduce runoff and erosion. These strategies support responsible land management and align with guest expectations for sustainable outdoor experiences.

For investors, the purchase underscores accelerating consolidation in the glamping segment near national parks. Maintaining the resort’s high guest-satisfaction scores while expanding low-impact infrastructure will be critical as demand for upscale outdoor accommodations continues to climb.

Nationwide RV and Resorts’ acquisition of Bryce Glamp and Camp marks a significant step in its growth, offering a model for integrating high-performing assets and expanding luxury outdoor hospitality with an eye toward sustainability and operational excellence.
