Hybrid camper vans are gaining momentum in the RV industry as consumer demand increases for fuel-efficient, versatile vehicles that support flexible travel lifestyles, according to a press release.
Unicamp USA, a specialist in pop-top conversions, is responding to this trend with new products designed for the Kia Carnival and Toyota Sienna—two of the most “popular hybrid minivans” in the U.S.
The conversions, priced at $16,000, allow hybrid vehicle owners to transition their minivans into fully functional campers with the push of a button.
The pop-top roof system adds vertical clearance and sleeping capacity, turning the vehicle into a compact and efficient mobile living space suitable for short trips and extended travel.

Designed with families in mind, the converted vans also offer a balance between everyday usability and adventure-ready capabilities.

Founded in 2011, UNICAMP has developed and manufactured a wide range of campers based on KIA and HYUNDAI platforms. Over the past 12 years, the company has produced more than 4,000 units.
Building on its success, UNICAMP has expanded into the North American market with the introduction of the Kia Carnival pop-top camper.
Following a positive reception, UNICAMP USA has added new offerings, including a pop-top conversion for the Toyota Sienna and a roof storage box compatible with both minivan models.
