Truma North America unveiled a collaboration with RV dealerships throughout the United States to host Eclipse Watch Parties on April 8, according to a press release.
“We understand that campgrounds across the country are seeing an increase in reservations for the days leading up to and after the eclipse,” Truma VP of Sales and Marketing Tim Williams said in the press release.
The announcement is in anticipation of the total eclipse, a celestial event that will draw visitors and outdoor enthusiasts. This eclipse is expected to surpass the 2017 North American Total Eclipse in terms of geographic coverage and duration of totality.
“Since a key part of our mission is to help RV owners create unforgettable memories outdoors, it made sense that we celebrate this significant event, and it gives us a chance to highlight some of our dealer partners,” Williams said.
The next eclipse of comparable magnitude is not expected until 2044, highlighting the rarity of this upcoming event.
The Eclipse Watch Parties, co-hosted by Truma and its dealer partners, will offer attendees light refreshments and Truma Eclipse viewing glasses.
Participants will also have the chance to win a C30 30-liter Truma Cooler Portable Fridge/Freezer. The events are scheduled at the following RV dealerships:
- Iron Horse RV Specialists in San Antonio, TX
- Moix RV Supercenter in Conway, AR
- Sullivan RV Center in Decatur, IN
- Craig Smith RV in Galion, OH
Additionally, Truma is supporting an Eclipse viewing event in Montreal, Quebec, hosted by Panoramic RV, a manufacturing partner.
The celebrations are set to begin at noon local time on April 8. Iron Horse RV will mark the start of the eclipse viewings at 1:33 PM CDT.
Attendees are encouraged to follow the participating dealers on Facebook for specific details and to RSVP to the “Total Eclipse Watch Party” events. For more information about the upcoming event, click here.
