THOR Industries Appoints Angie Wilcox Meadows as Vice President of Financial Controls and Risk

THOR Industries has promoted Angie Wilcox Meadows to vice president of financial controls and risk, expanding her role within the company’s leadership team.

The announcement was made alongside news that the company, in partnership with Harbinger, received Fast Company’s 2025 World Changing Ideas Award for their collaborative work on the first hybrid electric Class A motorhome.

Meadows will continue to oversee internal audit initiatives while also strengthening THOR’s financial risk mitigation strategies.

Her promotion is part of a broader effort to enhance corporate governance and reinforce the company’s internal control systems.

“With this promotion, Angie will expand her responsibilities, continuing to ensure our internal audit efforts are as efficient and effective as possible, while also further reinforcing our robust control and financial risk mitigation framework,” the company states in a LinkedIn post.

Headquartered in Elkhart, Indiana, THOR Industries is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of recreational vehicles. The appointment marks a key move in advancing the company’s financial oversight during a period of innovation and strategic investment.

In addition to the appointment, the World Changing Ideas Award recognizes projects that align innovation with social good.

THOR and Harbinger were honored for developing a hybrid electric Class A motorhome aimed at reducing emissions while preserving the performance standards RV consumers expect.

“This achievement underscores the collective commitment and partnership between THOR and Harbinger that is dedicated to pioneering an electrified RV ecosystem—from innovative chassis technology to enhanced design and comfort,” said Todd Woelfer, chief operating officer at THOR Industries.

“It’s a milestone that reflects our shared vision of delivering an RV experience that meets the needs of today’s owners and inspires tomorrow’s travelers,” Woelfer said.

The companies’ collaboration is part of THOR’s long-term innovation strategy, which emphasizes investment in sustainable technology and next-generation mobility solutions.

“We committed to investment in long term innovation to drive competitive advantage,” Woelfer added. “Our work to innovate with Harbinger is a great example of the strategic advantage that investment drives for THOR.”
